Christian Schlehuber

Christian is the founder and Managing Partner of CyberShield. He oversees our teams and projects. Additionally, he supports our clients from the development and execution of security programs to engineering in the concrete implementation of measures.

Before joining CyberShield, Christian worked in research on the protection of critical infrastructures for TU Darmstadt. After moving to Deutsche Bahn, he developed the security architecture for the Digital Signal Box of DB Netz AG before working in security management for both DB Netz AG and DB AG. He is the founder of the European Rail Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ER-ISAC) and serves as Convenor of WG 26 of CENELEC TC 9X, which developed the TS 50701 (Railway Applications - Cybersecurity).

In his free time, Christian can often be found doing sporting activities such as marathons or alpine mountain tours (he quickly swapped his Newton running shoes for crampons and an ice axe). He also enjoys being out and about with his three furry friends Ben, Whisky and Gismo.

Quote:

"At first glance, cybersecurity doesn't seem like a selling point because it doesn't generate greater profits or increase the capacity of a system. However, upon closer examination, it is an enabler for many digital and innovative trends that I currently see. It ensures that we can experience digital transformation without having to worry that attackers will have an easy time."

Gunter Hochsteiner

Manager Training Service / Technical Consultant Cybersecurity

Gunter leads the project for the development of the Hardening OT Baselines/Guidelines at our company. Additionally, he assists clients in establishing their security programs, analyzes audit findings, and, along with his team, enhances security in the areas of OT and IT.

In addition to his technical responsibilities, he is particularly active in shaping and developing the training area of CyberShield. His State Examination (Teaching Degree) has proven extremely helpful in this regard. During his studies at Heidelberg University, he worked with the IT department on secure networks for teachers and students and managed this field.

On weekends, you can find Gunter in the mornings at the animal shelter walking a dog, and in the afternoons at the gym using the equipment and in the free weights area.

Serhii Salii

Head of Sales

Serhii leads our sales team and accompanies companies on their way to sufficient cybersecurity. He analyzes your individual challenges, identifies the best solutions and develops a strategic allocation of resources. This will help you strengthen your security position and achieve your cybersecurity goals efficiently.

He has extensive experience in industrial security (Aviation Engineering, Industrial Automation) and has worked for many years in both system engineering and sales.

When work is your passion, the line between professional and personal time is often blurred. When you meet Serhii outside working hours, he is probably spending time with his family, riding his bike or car, programming solutions for his IoT devices at home or building models of modern airplanes.

I would like to quote a question here: “If I have a locked door, can no one rob my house?”. As an expert, you have to be honest here and clearly point out that everything can be cracked, the only question is with what effort. This also applies to cybersecurity. The aim should therefore not be to become unbreakable, but to make it so difficult for the attacker that he loses the interest.

Certifications:

  • ISO 27001 Lead implementer
  • CISA 301v, 401v
  • Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 3: Certified employee (NSE3)

My Linh Vu

Cybersecurity Consultant

My Linh carries out projects in the field of cybersecurity consulting. Her focus lies on the structured analysis of technical requirements, risks and the evaluation of security measures. She prepares complex cybersecurity topics in a way that creates clear, traceable and practically usable results for technical projects.

Her interest in cybersecurity developed through practical work with wireless network security. This made her aware of how even small technical weaknesses can lead to real risks. Since then, she has been particularly interested in networked systems, secure communication and risk-based cybersecurity.

In her free time, My Linh enjoys working on small technology and DIY projects. She is especially interested in programmable microcomputers, sensors and interactive hardware projects where software, hardware and creative ideas come together.

Quote:
“A standard can show what should be considered, but it does not automatically make a system secure. The real work begins where you understand the system, identify possible weaknesses and translate requirements into decisions that can actually be implemented.”

Certifications:

  • Fortinet Certified Associate in Cybersecurity (NSE 3)
  • DHS/ICS Cybersecurity 301V, 401V

Adela Schlehuber

Head of Sustainability & Marketing

Adela is responsible for sustainability, communication and marketing at CyberShield. She has been part of the company from the very beginning and has turned her long-standing personal passion for sustainable thinking and responsible action into her professional focus.

Her focus is on communicating technical topics in a way that is understandable, tangible and human, especially at the intersection of security awareness, corporate culture and sustainable business development. Her approach is practical: sustainability should not only exist on paper, but should become visible and tangible in everyday working life.

Before joining CyberShield, Adela worked in the field of fitness, wellness and health coaching. Working with people, behavioral patterns and long-term change continues to shape her perspective on awareness, communication and sustainable development.

In her private life, Adela has been deeply committed to animal rights and animal welfare for many years. During her travels, she supports neutering projects, raises awareness about speciesism and responsible treatment of animals, and helps foster dogs on their way to a permanent home. In everything she does, she aims to leave something positive behind in the places she visits.

In her free time, Adela is often out and about with her dogs, somewhere between nature, new cultures and the next project close to her heart.

Quote:
“In a world where we can be anything, we should above all be one thing: respectful towards animals, people and our planet. Because true progress is not only reflected in what we create, but also in how we treat the life around us.”

Gismo

Head of Pawblic Relations

Gismo has been a permanent part of CyberShield since 2023. With his confident, curious and sometimes charmingly stubborn nature, he regularly makes sure that familiar ways of thinking are questioned and situations are viewed from a different perspective.

Before Gismo “started working” at CyberShield, he made his way through life as a street dog in Serbia. His past is still visible in him today: he is attentive, independent, adaptable and always very hungry.

Between meetings, travels and creative discussions, Gismo keeps reminding us that not every challenge can be solved purely technically, but often also requires attention, empathy and a fresh view of what really matters.

As the unofficial company mascot, he reliably accompanies the team through everyday working life and symbolically represents something that is also important in the world of security: staying alert, questioning things with curiosity and not blindly following every path.

Quote:
“Security often feels self-evident until you have experienced what it means to manage without it. Perhaps that is why we at CyberShield understand so well that protection, reliability and trust are the foundation for everything else.”
